Universal Bimetallic thermometer

Bimetallic thermometers are based on a bimetallic strip wound into a circular, curved shape. When one end expands due to heat, it drives the pointer to rotate, and the instrument displays the temperature corresponding to the thermoelectric potential. These Bimetallic thermometers can directly measure the temperatures of liquids, steam, and gases within a range of -80°C to +500°C in various production processes.

The Universal Bimetallic thermometer's pointer dial and protective tube connection angle can be adjusted to suit various installation locations and observation requirements.

Temperature measurement range: -80°C to +500°C

Accuracy levels: commonly available are Class 1.0 and 1.5. Industrial thermometers generally use Class 1.5, while precision bimetallic thermometers use Class 0.5 or 0.25.

Nominal dial diameters: common diameters include 60mm, 100mm, and 150mm.

Protection levels: IP55, IP65, and IP66. theseUniversalBimetallic thermometers are generally corrosion-resistant, vibration-resistant, and waterproof, making them suitable for harsh environments.

Mounting options include movable external threads, fixed threads, compression threads, compression flanges, and fixed flanges, facilitating installation on various devices.

Advantages of Universal Bimetallic Thermometers

Intuitive and Easy to Read: The temperature is displayed directly on the dial by the pointer position, without the need for additional equipment.

High Mechanical Strength: The sturdy structure is resistant to vibration and shock, making it suitable for harsh environments.

Economical and Practical: The price is relatively low, and maintenance costs are low.

Quality Assurance System

We adhere to the "Quality by Design" philosophy and have established a comprehensive quality management system:

Raw Material Control: We utilize a certified supplier system, ensuring traceability of all materials.

Manufacturing Process: Standardized production processes.

Testing and Verification: Each universal bimetallic thermometer undergoes room temperature accuracy testing, high temperature aging testing, and sealing testing.

International Certifications: Our Universal Bimetallic Thermometers are CE and RoHS certified, meeting international standards.

  • High Precision Bimetal Thermometer Axial
    Axial Bimetallic thermometer

Bimetallic thermometers are constructed by welding two metal sheets with different linear expansion coefficients based on the thermal expansion characteristics of a bimetallic strip. When the temperature changes, the bimetallic strip bends due to the change in expansion coefficient, causing the pointer to indicate the corresponding temperature on the arrow.
